EMERGENCY NGO is an independent and neutral organization, founded in 1994, that provides free, high quality medical and surgical treatment to the victims of war, landmines and poverty and promotes a culture of peace and respect for human rights. In June 2016, a joint operation by Emergency and Migrant Offshore Aid Station (MOAS), start in Malta aboard the Topaz Responder, a search and rescue vessel operative in the central Mediterranean.
